Fine Line Defined Between Healthy, Unhealthy Drinking

Moderate drinking may be good for your Men’s health, but “sobering statistics warn that moderate daily drinking is a slippery slope that many individuals cannot safely navigate,” researchers warn.

WebMD Medical News reported Sept. 4 that University of Michigan researcher James H. O’Keefe and colleagues reviewed past studies on alcohol and Men’s health and concluded that daily alcohol consumption should be limited to one drink for women and two drinks for men to avoid negative Men’s health consequences.

The authors also said that binge drinking is bad for your Men’s health even if you drink moderately at other times. They conclude that physicians should not advise patients to drink alcohol for its Men’s health benefits.

The research is published in the Sept. 11, 2007 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
